The Promise of A Mate…

As a Counselor, Coach, and Minster of the Kingdom of Heaven, I am often asked about the promise of a mate. There are so many single women and so many single men. I get it from both sides. So, I thought it would be nice to repost a blog I did some time ago on the Woman to Women blog. While this blog speaks directly to women, it is also applicable to men. My heart goes out to those who want to find love (I am one of them), but it is vital to have the right mindset.

“As I lay meditating on the love of God and the women of God who are longing for husbands and have asked me to pray for them; two things came to me.

One: Many women are caterpillars in the cocoon asking for the benefits of a butterfly. They are just not ready! There is a time of preparation, yield to it. There is three seasons: a season of Education, Preparation and Presentation.butterfly-this-free-best-website_171277

Read: Esther Chapter 2

Two: Many women are hung up on the color of their husband (whether he is African America, Asian, Caucasian, Hispanic, etc.) Some women feel as though they must marry in their race to preserve their race, but here is what the Father said to me. “It is not our responsibility to preserve any race. It is our responsibility to persevere the essence of the human race, which is the soul. This is our foundational purpose here on earth.

 Matthew 19:6

“So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

If you are hung up on race, let me tell you God has been mixing up the races for centuries. Take Esther. She was a Jew married to a Babylonian. God knows what He is doing. Don’t let race be a hang up because hang ups can be hindrances.  These type of stipulations will cause a delay in the presentation of the gift of your mate. Be open to whatever God gives. It will be the best no matter how it is packaged.”
